Basic Information on What Really is Solar Power, and its Origin

Solar is radiant that’s created by direct sunlight. Every single day direct sunlight radiates, or releases, an enormous amount of . The sun’s rays radiates more within a second than people have utilized since the man can remember!

The energy of the Sun derives from within the sun itself. Just like other stars, the sun is a big ball of gases–mostly and helium atoms.
The atoms in the sun’s core combined to produce helium and generate energy in a procedure referred to as nuclear fusion.

During nuclear fusion, the sun’s extremely high-pressure and temperature cause atoms to come apart and their nuclei (the central cores on the atoms) to blend or bring together. Four nuclei fuse to become one helium atom. However the helium atom has less mass versus the four atoms that joined. Some matter is lost during nuclear fusion. The lost matter is emitted on to space as radiant energy.

It takes an incredible number of years for that energy in the sun’s core in making its route to the solar surface, and then somewhat over 8 minutes to travel the 93 million miles to earth. The sun’s energy travels to the earth at the speed of 186000 miles/second, the speed of the sun’s rays.
Merely a small part of the energy radiated from the sun into space strikes the planet earth, one part in two billion. Still this level of energy is massive. Every single day enough energy strikes United States of America to supply the nation’s energy requirements for 1. 5 years!

Where does all this energy go?

Roughly Fifteen percent of the sun’s energy which touches the planet earth, is mirrored back to space. Another 30 percent is used to evaporate water, which, when lifted to atmosphere, produces rainfall. The sun’s energy can also be absorbed by plants, the land, along with the oceans. The remaining could be put to use to produce our needs.
