“American Clean Power supports the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to further develop the existing strong U.S. manufacturing presence for clean technologies. More than 530 American manufacturing facilities already contribute to the U.S. supply chain for alone and, looking forward, clean is set to employ nearly 200,000 domestic manufacturing workers as part of achieving a majority renewables American electric grid by 2030. Like other major industries, clean power also participates in a global supply chain, and we look forward to collaborating with the administration to help achieve the dual purposes of hiring domestic workers and rapidly deploying carbon-free to meet important climate goals.” – Heather Zichal, ACP CEO
