Motor club signs up for geothermal power

Encore energy Systems and its patented grey-water geothermal heat exchanger technology selected by Prairie Hills Motorsport Club as Green Alliance solution provider.

BRIGHTON, MI., September 13, 2007 — Encore Energy Systems, Inc. (Other OTC: ENCS), a rapidly growing diversified energy company announces exciting partnership with a motorsport facility featuring the longest track in the Western Hemisphere. Prairie Hills Motorsport Club, ( www.prairiehillsmc.com ) located in Lake Village, Indiana is on schedule for a grand opening in the spring of 2009. The facility has been expertly designed to incorporate the latest energy saving [tag-tec]geothermal technology[/tag-tec]. Although this new facility will be one of the largest of its kind in the world, it will have the smallest carbon footprint. Encore Energy is proud to be associated with this groundbreaking venture by supplying the design and technology to install its patented grey-water geothermal solution.

Upon completion, the entire complex will be spread over 872 acres of Northwest Indiana prairie. The club boasts America's longest road course (6.8 miles) with superb state-of-the-art facilities to rival any racing club in the world, all set within a country club atmosphere.

Encore Energy will supply its patented grey-water heat exchangers system to provide geothermal powered heating and cooling for the entire site. Benefits will be realized immediately through reduced cost and time of installation. The patented grey-water geothermal system does not require the drilling of deep bore well fields or trenching - thus allowing the elimination of this expensive process. Further incentives include savings on energy bills of up to 70% versus traditional air source A/C units with no noisy or unsightly HVAC outdoor equipment on display.

Michael Krupka, CEO of Prairie Hill Motorsport Club, commented: "Everything about Prairie Hills Motorsport Club is state-of-the-art. That includes the track, the facility, and the Encore Energy Systems' geothermal technology that will provide comfort in heating and cooling for our staff, members, and guests."

Jack Tarry, CEO of Encore Energy said: "Prairie Hills is a significant and prestigious client for Encore. Choosing us to provide cutting-edge geothermal solutions speaks as a vote of confidence for us, our technology, and the direction we are heading in this industry. We are truly getting nationwide recognition. This is an exciting time for the company. We are experiencing unprecedented demand for our solutions. We anticipate making similar announcements of major clients on a continuing basis."

Aptera - car/motorcycle of the now?

Wow have you seen this car? The Aptura is scheduled to launch sales later this year in California. An electric (or plug in hybrid) vehicle that also looks very cool. Now we are talking.

aptura

Here is what Aptura says about themselves:

The first Operating Prototype achieved over 230 Miles per gallon! Five years ago, Aptera's founder Steve Fambro endeavored to design and build a passenger vehicle that was safe, comfortable, and more fuel-efficient than anything ever produced. This aspiration, combined with his background in engineering, led him to an intensive study of aerodynamics, and composite aircraft construction. He hypothesized that a low-drag, aerodynamic body shape could be achieved without sacrificing comfort, drivability or safety. What emerged, after much designing, conceptualizing, and constructing, was a prototype two-seat, three-wheeled vehicle. This first operating prototype achieved a stunning 230 miles per gallon, Building on this success, Steve expanded his Aptera team and created the Aptera Typ-1, which has been re-designed, re-engineered, and refined into a production ready vehicle. We are excited to announce that the Aptera Typ-1 is now available for reservations.

A little preview of the Aptura from the LA Times:

Say hello to papa, I want on of these cars. Sign me up.
