SELECTING A SOLAR POWER BATTERY-WHAT TO CONSIDER

When Selecting a Solar Battery Charger for Your RV Consider These Items: 1. Batteries are exposed to varying temperature extremes: If not taken into consideration, this can lead to plate sulfation and/or excess water loss. It is important to include battery temperature compensation in the charge controller.

1. Operating of solar panels: Solar panels operate at higher than normal temperatures when laid flat on the roof of RVs, from which they suffer a voltage drop.
