Electric Cars Rule Ga. Town

AssociatedPress asked:

When gas prices go up, residents of Peachtree City, Ga. get around by driving golf carts. There are a few other communities in the US but most are retirement communities. In Peachtree City, just about everyone rides the golf carts. (July 25)

  1. This is our future. Get used to it folks. If you are still on? the AGW denial side of the fence, you are part of the problem. Be part of the solution and look into replacing your gas burning car with electric, asap. A town next to ours is now allowing golfcarts on their roads. More demand and they will build us affordable EVs. I see our town going this way very soon and sooner, the better. Many of my science students are still listening to the deniers. Not after my lectures.

  6. although i think it’s great, it’s definitely being held back as you say, & i assume this is? only allowed in this town because of some affluent wealth supporting it in a nice area, & it’s overwhelming popularity. if it was just one person doing this, they’d be fined and it would be stopped. presumably, if americans took to building their own electric vehicles en masse, it would be quickly stamped out with regulations & fees to keep car & gas sales lucrative, grow state $’s etc

For that you would spend on replacing the necessary technology to be spent on replacing the necessary technology to years as long term these carts are small wont really haul anything but passengers and wont go very far away from home for that you would be available.
